Hello,

I just purchased this motherboard and everything works fine, I just have a blackscreen when I want to enter the bios. Whenever i press the DEL key during boot I just get a blackscreen. I also tried to get into BIOS within Windows but this doesn't work. Appreciate your help.

EVGA RTX 3070
Ryzen 5 5600X
MSI MPG B550M PRO-VDH WIFI

Try the other graphics ports of the 3070, sometimes the BIOS is only shown on one of them for some reason. Also, if you're using a TV as your monitor, some can't show the BIOS properly, then you should try with a normal PC monitor.

My main monitor got one display port and two hdmi ports, my gpu got 3 display port and 1 hdmi. My second monitor is a tv and that one is plugged into the hdmi port.

Then i would suggest, try updating the BIOS using the Flash BIOS Button:
1. Download the latest BIOS file from the MSI support site for your board and extract it, https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B550M-PRO-VDH-WIFI/support
2. Take a USB stick and format it to FAT32 (it's best for it to have a size of 32 GB or less). You can also try Rufus for formatting, as FAT32 non-bootable.
3. Rename the extracted (!) BIOS file to MSI.ROM and save it to the root of your USB flash drive / USB stick (not in a subfolder).
4. Plug the USB flash drive / USB stick that contains the MSI.ROM file into the marked Flash BIOS Port (!) on the rear I/O panel (see manual if it's not marked).
5. With the PC off, press the Flash BIOS Button, and the LED should start flashing for about 5-8 minutes and then the board reboots.

Anything drastically different (under a minute of flashing, or over 10 minutes of flashing) and the flashing didn't work, so you can abort and try with the next USB stick.

When you get blackscreen, press Ctrl+Alt+Del to reboot system, does it boot to BIOS?
What PC monitor do you have? Does it have any setting related to Power Saving mode? Try to turn it off and test again.

When i started my pc today i waited a second until i turned on my monitor and got the MSI boot logo for the first time, then i pressed delete and got into the bios. I wanted to flash the bios but when I tried to start M Flash I got a black screen again.

Im having the exact same problem...B550m Pro VDH Wifi wdnt boot into bios at all....its just blank screen...boots to windows no problem..but I cannot access bios at all..i don't have another monitor to try..using 1080ti DP....funny thing is , I got the MB yesterday and I could go in the bios and I updated the latest firmware , then this thing happened...

Probably now the BIOS version is in pure UEFI mode, so the good old 1080 Ti has some problem with it.
In Windows, check if the GeForce needs this firmware update: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/nv-uefi-update-x64/
It may work properly afterwards.
Nah... Its the monitor.. I noticed if i use it with my Asus 144hz monitor or my Illegear 165hz monitor, it wdnt show the msi logo for me to go to the bios.. But when I used a normal 60hz 4k monitor, it worked like a charm... Im pretty sure the bios needs an update to fix this annoying bug..

In your monitor's options, disable the power save mode and the "automatic input switching" option. That worked for me.
