MSI MPG B650 - Running 9070XT at PCIe4 x8

Hello all.

I've been trying to troubleshoot my 9070XT which is only running PCIe4 at x8, when it should be at x16. I have tried everything from only having 1 M.2 drive (even though M2.1 & M2.4 should be fine), reseating the GPU, cleaning out the PCIe slot, updating the bios, running the render test in GPU-Z to make sure it isn't a power saving feature, changed the BIOS settings to emulate exactly what PCIe version it should be running etc etc, but I'm still stuck on this. Any recommendations?

Thanks

Ok cool.
There are few MPG B650 boards, but in general 1-2 of M.2 slots share bandwidth with the top PCIe connector. Double check your motherboard model and spec on the MSI website as it tells which M2 slots specifically share bandwidth.

Double checked already - the 2nd and 3rd M.2 slots seem to share the bandwidth with the GPU, but I only have them in the 1st and 4th slot. I even tried only having the one in the top slot but that didn't work either still

Very interesting.
One last thing I can suggest is that you re-seat the card, as well as update the BIOS. If it still doesn't work as intended then you may need to contact MSI for further help.

What's current BIOS version used?
Also provide detailed system specs, see >>Posting Guide<<

P.S: Moving topic to correct area. [not GPU [your GPU is not MSI one], but mainboard]
