Got a brand new motherboard and the M2 port on top of the graphics card doesn't work, I tried the 2nd port and everything worked fine.
I would like to know if there's something to do to make that M2 port work as it should since it's the one you can put a heat sink on. I heard stuff about the 2 first sata ports having a mix up with something else could it be the same?
Thanks for any input

Only one M.2 slot will support a SATA M.2 SSD drives Both will support PCIE M.2 x3 or x4 speed.

Funny that MSI didn't bother to point it out other than in the specs since it's very different
I sent them a nice email with a pick of a gigabyte board and how they do it and suggest they follow suit as I also had the same problem as well as many others.

Doing something like this would benefit many a buyer as that is the Page most retailers use.

Not to sure why the keep calling the Passive one heat sinks or coolers as they are just a more of a heat spreader and allow for bit of extra thermal spread keeping all the same temp. Apparently Active ones are not a good idea you just need something to prevent hot spots, or something along those lines.
