Hi there! I'm in trouble.

My PC Specs:
MotherBoard - MSI MPG X670E Carbon Wifi
BIOS - 7D70v1N3(Beta version) 2025-03-13
CPU - AMD Ryzen 7900x
DRAM - G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB [F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR] 64 ГБ
SSD - Samsung PRO 980 2 TB
Graphics - Nvidia RTX 4070 TI
Power Supply - Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1650W [PS-TPD-1650FNFAGE-4]

When i set non standart frequency and timings of DRAM, or use a standart EXPO profile, my system doesn't reboot with post code 00 and yellow DRAM led on motherboard.
With standart frequnecy and timings - 4800 mHz and 40-40-40-77 it's works great.

Now i set a manual meaning - 6200 mHz with 30-36-36-76, PC works perfectly, but not reboot.
What should I check?
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

You mean, you can boot up normally from a cold start, but anytime you want to reboot (after a Windows update etc.), it will get stuck on the DRAM LED?

I would open a ticket with MSI, see what they say.

Looks like this is turning into a full-blown apocalypse — and honestly, it seems like the new SMU might be more to blame than just the BIOS itself.

From what I’ve seen, everyone is getting different POST codes at different stages:
some get 0D, others see 00, and in my case it’s consistently C5.
😭

@citay @pogdmm Hi there. They give a standart answer, but it's not worked :/

"Dear Дмитрий Мамонтов,

Thanks for contacting MSI technical support.

Regarding your concern, please clear CMOs referring to the manual, clean the golden fingers of your RAM, enter BIOS, press F6 to load optimized defaults, just set EXPO to enabled, press F10 to save and reset.
If the issue remains, please just install one piece of RAM to test if it works with EXPO separately. Thank you!

Thanks for your cooperation in advance!

Best Regards,

MSI Technical Support Team"

Well, you could do what they say (just to say you did it), then say it doesn't help, and ask what to do next. I don't know if they have a good answer though, and it may need a future BIOS update instead.
