Hi All,
I'm working on an MSI MS-6787 (P4MAM series) motherboard. It worked fine for 12-14 years (I don't remember when it was new, maybe 2008) and now three times in the last year, I've had to reload the BIOS settings. The battery still measured good, but each time I reloaded the BIOS settings, I also replaced the battery. The motherboard is an MSI MS-6787 (P4MAM series). Has anyone else come across a problem like this?

If the battery has +/- 3V then it is good. Some motherboards after sudden shutdown go into fail-safe and reset CMOS, maybe this is one of them.
