in a trial of updating my MSI N1996's bios, i accidentally downloaded the wrong version, even tho the dos setup didnt let me continue i found a way to surpass it, when i restarted it the pc seemed fine with a newer fujitsu logo and everything (i have a fujitsu scaleo p), but when it advanced it said "this bios version is made for (i forgot the motherboard number) motherboards"
is there any way or any possibility of me fixing the bios since it detects that it is not made for it?
Note: the keyboard and mouse seem to be not working/responding on the pc after i bricked the bios

The "N1996" motherboard does not exist.
That is/was a number used by many MSI motherboards.
You need to take a look between the PCI slots to see the real motherboard model.
Also it would be very useful to take a (high res) photo of your motherboard (top view) and post it here.

Talking about what you "accidentally" did, if the BootBlock (the BIOS loader) is corrupted, the only way to resurrect this motherboard is an external flash programmer.
Presuming you have the right BIOS file ...
That "Fujitsu Scaleo" indicates a custom BIOS involved, so you need to find it first of all.

The quality of your photo is terrible.
You need to investigate by yourself.
Anyway, "Fujitsu Scaleo P" seems to be an AMD system, probably with AMD Sempron 3200+ processor.
Like this one: Fujitsu Scaleo P

In my opinion this system is useful in a museum.

yeah it is really old, my dad bought it in 2004 before i was even born, and tbh i only wanna fix it for the nostalgia, thanks for the help man it really means much

Don't get me wrong: I still play from time to time Spectrum Sinclair games.
But I use emulators and the latest hardware for that.
With 125 bucks you can buy the entire "Fujitsu Scaleo P" computer, and a working one!
I don't recommend wasting time and resources with a 20 years old motherboard.
:beerchug:

that board from the looks of it is a MSI MS-7275 that was a OEM board made for Fujitsu-Siemens and is literally Impossible to find the BIOS for it any more.

That's socket 775 (Intel): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/404696192942
"Fujitsu Scaleo P" is an AMD system.

Or maybe they used the same name for both AMD Sempron / Intel Celeron versions ... :bonk:
