MSI Optix G27C Gaming Monitor 27 goes blank

Hello,
  I appreciate someone taking the time to help with this situation.  I have recently purchased the  MSI Optix G27C Gaming Monitor 27 .    I am using the displayport for connection to my computer.  It is a beautiful monitor that I recommend to anyone.  However, the one oddity is that whenever I start a video, whether youtube, netflix, or amazon, etc, the monitor will go blank and then come back on.  It will do this occasionally through the video until I turn it off and back on.  After that, it stays on for the remainder of the video.
Anyone have any idea why this may be happening?

I made an account just to answer this xD, change your windows resolution settings to 60hz by right clicking the desktop. for some reason it does that in 120-144hz mode. weird

Hey, I'm having the exact same issue. I have 2 of these monitors (MSI Optix G27C Gaming Monitor 27") and I've never had any other problems but this one. I'm able to watch Netflix on one of my monitors, however the other monitor gets a black screen. I tried changing the monitor that is playing Netflix from 144hz to 60hz, but that didn't fix the problem. What did fix the problem was setting both monitors to 60hz. Again, that isn't a good fix for this issue, since I paid for 144hz.

If these monitors have problems with playing video at 144hz, why was I still able to watch Netflix on one monitor while the other blacked out?

For this symptom, please contact your nearest MSI branch office or local distributors for the warranty service that update firmware.
