Hello
I bought the MSI Optix MAG281URF monitor around 5 months ago and ever since I have owned it, it has this issue where when I am playing games the monitor will shut off and go black for around 2 seconds then the image comes back. This only ever happens when I am gaming and certain games trigger it alot more than others, but it is random. Some times it won't go black for hours , other times it will go black every 2 minutes 10 times in a row.
I noticed when I used the HDMI cable that came with the monitor certain games were unplayable and would trigger the black screen every 5 minutes. When I switched to a display cord this issue became alot less frequent. At first I thought it was to do with monitor overheating because the longer I played a game the more it would trigger, but I have had instances of launching a game from a fresh boot and occurring instantly.
Just today I launched Team Fortress 2 and it was black screening every minute until I turned off vertical sync, but it still occurred after so I'm not sure what the issue is.
Has anyone else had this experience or been able to fix it or do I just need to return the monitor.
