Motherboard in subject, combined with Corsair Dominator GT 2000mhz memory and i7-2600k. After I flashed the bios, the system is stuck in a reboot loop. I have tried the last 45 minutes various methods of draining the cmos battery, resetting the cmos with the button on the back and with the jumper and it simply will not revert to the original bios. Is there some other methods of getting back to the original? The problem is I accidentally flashed it with the E7673IMS.1A2 file which is for a different P67A motherboard.

I seriously hope there is a method other than returning the board.

I had this a while ago - fixed by removing the battery, ensuring no power retained in any capacitors as far as possible by pressing power on a few time, then clearing the CMOS a few times. I hadn't flashed the wrong BIOS though!

You had the exact same problem?  You flashed the wrong BIOS, too?

Stuff like this, cannot be fixed by removing the battery.

The Dual BIOS does not kick in because the BIOS code (checksum) itself is fine and is therefore not classified as "corrupted".

Short of soldering off both BIOS chips and to swap them and soldering them back on, your only option is to RMA the board.
