Hello!


Can u help me i got MSI P67S-C43 and cpuid hardware monitor pro show TMPIN1 temperatures like 82 celsius.  i think its not normal.
Pls give me an advice.

There is some difference in opinion what that reads. It may be the 6 series chipset (PCH), but maybe someone at CPUID H/W Monitor can shed some light on it. If it is the 6 series chipset, you are ok as 104C is Tcontrol & 108C is TJMax. :-))

Added: Always best to look up the very latest datasheet or thermal & design guide for the component in question. With revision changes, temps & voltages may have been changed.

Hi!

I have MSI P67S-C43 motherboard (with i5-2500 processor and Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus fan, no overclocking) and 40C-120C (to 120C in games) temperature at TMPIN1 in H/W Monitor, AIDA and ControlCenter.
What must i do?
And where is TMPIN1 located at motherboard?

The recommendation remains the same. Contact CPUID & ask them.

Look at screenshot, there are 3 values in different programs from 1 sensor. In Control Center from MSI it names "CPU Tempterature" at "Green Power" tab, but temperature of CPU cores is < 50C. There should be a reason for it.

Yes, I'm sure there is, but nobody here seems to know exactly what it is reading or why it shows so hot, & that is why I have suggested for several times to contact CPUID & ask them what it is reading with the P67 platform. We are just users here, all volunteers, no MSI employees here. Again, contact CPUID & discuss it with them. It may be a misread of their utility & needs to be fixed in a newer revision at their end.
