i want to buy msi pe62 7re (INDIA) but cant find it on msi official website .
Just want to know that does it have extra RAM slot to expand the memory !
There are no videos or details available aboutthis laptop !
Should i buy it or not?

In MSI PL62 7RC, there have 2 RAM slots and only 1 is used.

I bought this notebook and tried to install Debian linux. The install was successful but the system did not boot as there is no firmware available. Strangely this model is not listed anywhere on msi websites. But I could register my notebook on the support website which I believe means that it is a genuine product.

I tried to post a question at support but it does not allow me without uploading a system information file generated by a windows program, which I cannot do. It did not accept and empty text file either.

Any suggestions?
