MSI PE70 6QE eGPU

Hiya,

Could someone please help me identify which eGPU will be compatible with this laptop?

It's got USB-C, mDP and a Sandylake chipset but doesn't have thunderbolt branding. Is there a non thunderbolt alternative that I can use? Is there a firmware to make it acknowledge that it is (potentially)? Or am I just dead in the water with a strong laptop and poor GFX?

Hello,
unfortunately there is no alternative. Non of those connectors have enough bandwidth to support external gpu and there is no official software support from MSI.
