My computer was fantastic until a few months ago. Now when trying to run Adobe Lightroom, the computer is stuttering between photos as you advance from one photo to the next. To the point that it is almost unusable. Earlier today I tried to delete a photo in Lightroom, and it took 15 seconds for the delete dialogue box to fully open after hitting the delete button. Used to be instantaneous. Even when browsing the computer sometimes just stutters it way through loading a web page.. Took the computer to the local dealer to check it out and the tech said that the computer was "working fine for what it is". I felt that was a little harsh as the computer is only about four years old. Done all updates and the Power Setting in Windows 11 and on the Creator Control are set to High Performance. The computer cannot even browse the web on balance power.

Suggestions Please

Check if the storage and memory are nearly full. Clean up some of the files to release some space for the laptop to run faster.
Connect the charger while using it to have better performance.

Suggestions Please
1- Clean out the fans with compressed air.
2- In CMD (run as admin) type sfc /scannow then type chkdsk /r
3- Use a laptop stand and COOLER BOOST when gaming.
4- Download CPUID HWMonitor and verify RAM available/usage, CPU temperature, etc.

5- Uninstall all needless apps, remove what is not essential in Windows apps startup.
6- Repaste your CPU, if temperatures are higher than 70oC @ idle and 95oC @ gaming.
7- A system restore or fresh install would help also, or at least a registry clean with an app lik CCleaner

P.S. If you only have 8GB RAM installed, start searching for specials, the RAM is onboard, so upgrading impossible.
