Hi, I am a security researcher. And i recently purchased MSI Prestige 15 A10SC and due to my work need, I have to use Linux, so I installed Linux Mint 20 but during work, the CPU temperatures hit 100C most of the time. how can I reduce my temperature? On windows, there is an option to turn on the cooler boost and set the fan speed to the maximum in Linux I have no choice. Does MSI have any kind of tools for the Linux platform?

No, all apps are for windows.
Maybe you can try to use a virtual machine tool.

Try undervolting the cpu. intel-undervolt is what you should look for.
Also maybe try a distro with newer packages. I am running a rolling-distro with great success on it. Never hitting high temps (it's true i disable the nvidia card, because I don't use it).
