Hi

I have the motherboard that in headline. When I connect my speakers to the motherboard, nothing happened. Tried to connect also microphone and the same happen. Lately I worked with the speakers in the monitor (they are still works fine, but connect with hdmi) so I don't sure when this happen, but two things happened latley that might effect:
1. I updaet the motherboard bios to the latest version that in the site
2. Clean some dust. Is there specific wire that might can disconnect or someting and can effect?
3. Updat the Windows. Don't use it with serial key and Microsoft pretty limited the part of the speakers and microphone in situation like this. Maybe they take it one step forward and now block all the setting of the the speakers?

Questoin for you - is there option to send message to the support of MSI directly from the email and not from the site? How much time it take them to answer.
I see that this not going to resolve with the store.

Thanks. Didn't open when I wrote you the message. Prefer first to check with the store but when I saw it stuck, I opened yesterday

btw, I have another issue that will glad to know if related to the motherboard. I have expension card for usb type c gen 2X2. I have external ssd that have light when he connect. In some of the time, I see the blue light appear but don't see the ssd in the computer. In some of the time, I see him for 1-2 seconds and he gone. The store send him to checking, and got new one but again have this issue. I wonder if this somethign related to the SSD or the motherboard or the expension card.

If the Audio is working Install BIOS 7D43v1K. Doing it this way you should keep the AUDIO.
If the Audio is not working after updating to 7D43v1K you will need to do a Warranty Clain to have it replaced.

Now if Audio is working after Updating to 7D43v1K I would advise you not to do any more bios updates.

Hi. I have the same problem on my MSI pro b660m-A DDR4. No sound on bios updates above 1E. Can I also get the bios version to fix this? Thanks.

Hi @Alan J T, I have the same issue with the my BIOS as well. I have tried updating to the latest BIOS and it gives me no audio. The Realtek audio driver does not show up and only Nvidia High Definition Audio (monitor) does. Audio works in v1E but not anything higher. Motherboard: B660M-A PRO WiFi DDR4. Please help as I want to update to the latest BIOS, thanks!

Hi Alan.
Opened ticket about the issue. I wanted officail answer for the store that they will know this is known issue and should install some specidal bios.
It seems that the one that answer me isn't aware for this bios version. Is there any chance that you update him so I could get answer and check with the store what to do?

At present MSI has decided not to use the BIOS fix as it may not work long-term, They now recommend RMA as the problem may reoccur in future BIOS updates.
I am unaware of any other way to acquire the BIOS File except via the Global Forums.

Thanks for both answer. I don't have other expenstion card. Bought him especially for the motherboard because needed Gen 2X2 port.
ok, will talk with the store in the next week about RMA. What they should in case like this? Fix my motherboard? Give new motherboard? Give motherboard that someone use him?

btw, is there any way to prevetnt the email notification when I receive here message? Try to disable some things in the setting but still get them

ok, I check it. Should I do this for every theraed that I involve in? If yes, this pretty annoying. Is there other way to make it for all topic?
