Hi all!
Since latest BIOS update (AMI BIOS 7D48vAN 2026-04-23) https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-H610M-E-DDR4/support
USB Devices not showing after turning on PC, but showing after reinserting.
I have an Intel i5 12400, and with high performance power plan, the frequency not even reaching base speed (2.50 Ghz)...
Specs:
Windows 10 22H2 updated
MSI PRO H610M-E DDR4
Core i5 12400

32 GB ram ddr4 2666

MSI GeForce RTX™ 3050 VENTUS 2X XS 8G OC

All drivers updated from here: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-H610M-E-DDR4/support#driver

Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance

PS: Sorry for my English, i'm Portuguese.

I have checked the BIOS, and the IOMMU setting was enabled by default.
So, updated the BIOS (AMI BIOS 7D48vAO 2026-06-10), all is fine!
Just one off-topic question:
Do we need to install Intel Management Engine Driver, Intel Serial IO Drivers and Intel GNA Scoring Accelerator, provided by MSI, or the ones from Microsoft are enough?!
Once again, thanks in advance! :)

I install the ones from MSI, because drivers you get via Windows Update are usually outdated. Same with a graphics card for example, you can let Windows Update install drivers for it, and it will indeed download some NVIDIA or AMD drivers for it respectively, but they are quite old. It's better to install newer ones yourself.

The only drivers you don't have to update on Intel are the chipset drivers, because they are not really drivers in the traditional sense, and newer versions of those only support newer platforms, they don't improve things for platforms that were already supported.

I thought that chipset and network drivers were the most important (first thing i do after a clean windows install).

Yes, me too, the latest ones. And the network drivers I keep updating from time to time, but the chipset drivers you only have to install once.

For Realtek LAN, those drivers are here - the correct ones are "Win11 Auto Installation Program (NetAdapterCx)" (fourth ones under "Windows"). MSI always list the older Win10 ones because they prefer better compatibility, but everyone with Win11 (the vast majority now) are better off with the Win11 ones, uninstalling the Win10 ones first.

For the GPU, you don't really have to DDU the old drivers, you could just install the latest ones on top. But DDU doesn't hurt either, just one step more.

Are NetAdapterCx drivers better than NDIS?
MSI should separate them and make NetAdapterCx drivers package available for download (WIN 11).
The "Win11 Auto Installation Program (NetAdapterCx)" from Realtek, installs a bunch of drivers (all-in-one).
When i uninstall something, i use Revo Uninstaller Pro to clean leftovers (folders, files, registry, etc.).
How do you uninstall network drivers?

I really appreciate all the help! @citay

Are NetAdapterCx drivers better than NDIS?

Yes. Windows 10 uses the older NDIS driver model, which also works in Win11 for backwards compatibility. But specifically for network hardware, Win11 implemented the new NetAdapterCx driver model, for better performance and lower latency, and this doesn't work under Win10. This NetAdapterCx driver model, quote, "brings an updated data path that sits below the TCP/IP stack, with improved performance over current NDIS stack by reducing latency and cycles per packet. The new data path is built based on the polling-based IO model vs. the interrupt driven model, allowing the OS to optimize performance."

For uninstalling, I just use the conventional "Programs & Features" list (press Windows Key + R and run "appwiz.cpl"). A dedicated uninstaller tool can sometimes clean leftovers, yes, but I haven't gotten into the habit of using one. Such leftovers are usually benign, and more cosmetic. Might be an empty folder here and there or a registry entry, but those rarely tend to have negative effects. But it's probably cleaner to use such an uninstaller tool.

With the Realtek installers, yes, during installation, they always show like a dozen drivers being installed, you'd almost think it has gone into some kind of loop that it can't get out of. But that's normal. Give it a few minutes and the drivers will be on.
