Each time I try it states I have the incorrect information for initial set up. I have my wireless internet working however I cannot go into the log in section to adjust my configuration on this router.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Check Username and Password: Ensure that you are entering the correct username and password for the router. The default credentials are often provided in the router's manual or on a sticker on the router itself. If you have changed the login details, make sure you are using the updated information.
  1. Factory Reset: If you're unable to log in and you suspect that the login credentials may be incorrect, you can perform a factory reset on the router. This will reset all settings, including the login credentials, to the default values. Keep in mind that this will also erase any custom configurations you've made.
  2. Verify Connection: Ensure that your device is connected to the router's network before attempting to log in. If your wireless internet is working, your device should be connected. Double-check the Wi-Fi settings on your device to confirm the connection.
  3. Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, browser cache and cookies can cause login issues. Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies or use a different browser to see if the problem persists.
  4. Use IP Address: Instead of using the router's hostname, try accessing the login page using the router's IP address. You can find this information in the router's manual or by checking your device's network settings.
  5. Update Firmware: If you're able to log in, check if there's a firmware update available for your router. Updating the firmware may resolve known issues and improve performance.
  6. Contact MSI Support: If you've tried the above steps and still cannot log in, it's recommended to contact MSI support for assistance. They may provide specific guidance or be aware of any issues or solutions related to your router model.
Please note that performing a factory reset will erase your current configurations, so it's essential to have a record of your custom settings or be prepared to reconfigure the router after the reset. Always follow the manufacturer's guidelines and recommendations when troubleshooting or performing actions on your router.

It won’t let me send a picture but I’ve reset my router and it still won’t let me log into my info. I haven’t even completed the initial setup of this router the app crashed and now it won’t let me log in.

i 100% wrote down my login username and password before going forward in the setup screen on my phone. I was in the middle of customizing the names of the different network options and as soon as I hit apply it’s supposed to go forward to test speeds and then the app crashed. Now I can’t log back in.

The exact same thing has happened to me. Tech support was zero help and basically told me to return it.
Were you able to fix this and if yes, what did you do?

i had the same problem, but i solved it, insted of puting the MSI_2G_**, You have to put admin in the username and then put the pssword to login
but don't do it on the mobile app, go to msirouter.login first

I confirm that (12 April 2024) behavior in my unit obtained a couple of weeks ago.
After reset-by-button, I was able to use "admin" and the password on the sticker UP TO A POINT.
The credentials were accepted and the browser did show me a new, different screen.
But that screen also wants my login credentials, and I have NOT got past it yet.
So I want to say:
-----> We may be discussing a problem with more than one component <----

I hope to get farther, and if I learn anything worth reporting, I'll try to be clear about which solutions apply to which specific behaviors.
