MSI RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Trio OC Plus – Do I Have the Right Power Supply?

Hello,
I have a Corsair RM750x 80 Plus Gold power supply, which includes two PCIe 8-pin (6+2) cables, each with two 8-pin connectors.
My new GPU, MSI RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Trio OC Plus, requires three 8-pin connectors via the included 3x 8-pin → 12VHPWR adapter.

Can I connect one cable to two 8-pin connectors and the second cable to one 8-pin connector on the adapter?

While it is not the preferred method it will be OK as the GPU is not a heavy power draw and really only need two 8 Pin connectors to supply the 300 watts it maxes out at
