Recently got myself a new gpu to replace my msi gtx760 gaming oc 2Gb(still an awesome gpu with more than 2yrs++ usage). Did a lot of readings, watching review and a lot of headache :p.
Finally decide to get myself this RX480 Gaming X 8Gb. Few reasons why i choose this than other brand because its MSI :p.
With a boost clock of 1316MHz in OC mode, 1303MHz in Gaming mode, and 1266MHz in silent mode, I usually set it in Gaming mode. Provided with 8Gb Vram that is more than enough with the current games realease. Gaming in 1080p with no sweat. I do have planning to upgrade for a higher monitor resolution in next time.

Did a quick unboxing as i am getting really excited. The box and contain is pretty much straight forward. Some quick info and contain written on the box. Black and red had been the theme for msi gaming product since quite some time.

The new MSI Torx 2.0 stays silent and provide enough air for the gpu stays cool. With a dual fan configuration and big fan size the makes the job done.

That big heatpipes and nicely done design of backplate gave a unique look to the gpu. The backplate have a minimalist design witch i really like.

With 2 display port, 2 hdmi, and a dvi connector. Multi display can be achived in this way.

Other contain inside the box. Using the latest installer of driver and utilities from the web is highly recommended.

With zeroforz activated, fan stays dormant. Light that baring the logo of MSI can be changed. RGB supported. The lights for the strip/fin remain red. Paired it up with my MSI b85-g43 gaming motherboard it looks stunning.

with only 8pin power connector enough to powerup this "beast". this really help in cable management.

Overall really satisfied on my purchased. Price per performance, looks, size, apps and driver support plays big role in my choice.
Current game that im playing is, battlefield 1, Tom Clancy's the division, witcher 3, watchdog 2 and others.
