Hi everyone,

I have bought MSI Trident A 9 desktop one mounth ago. I installed Dragon Center. However, I cannot control my CPU fan settings via Dragon Center`s interface. That is the reason why I opened my bios settings and I did some adjustmens on my cpu fan speed settings. I realized that my bios cpu fan settings is validated until I sign in Windows actually until Dragon Center is started. After Dragon Center is started my bios cpu fan settings are not valid. This situation results unbalanced tempreture.

After I realized this problem I uninstalled SDK and restart the system and then my bios settings are valid but Dragon Center is no longer usefull. By the way, my system, all drivers, and bios is updated. Also I have tried clean install.

PLEASE HELP ME FOR THIS PROBLEM. WE PAY SO MUCH MONEY FOR THESE DEVICES IN TURKEY. BUT MSI SDK IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MSI TRIDENT A 9 SERIES. MY DESKTOP WORKING IN HIGH TEMPRETURES BECAUSE OF SDK.

Is there anyone who can help me, I am also okey for CPU fan control program which can work for this desktop.

Thank you.

Are you using the latest Dragon Center v. 2.0.04?
https://www.msi.com/Desktop/support/Trident-A-9th#down-driver&Win10%2064

If the version is already up to date, you could use MSI Dragon Center 2 Auto Removal Tool / Log Generator, v1.0.0.5: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/328645

(1). To uninstall Dragon Center UI & SDK, please click ?Uninstall UI & SDK? to uninstall Dragon Center.
After system reboot, you could install Dragon Center again to check whether the utility could be installed or not.
(2).  If the fan issue persist: click ?Generate Log? to gather the logs from Windows event viewer and utility installation files and provide the log here.

Hi thank you for your answer.

https://www.msi.com/Desktop/support/Trident-A-9th#down-driver&Win10%2064 this one is not installed. Today I checked all drivers and its utilities removed. I didint understand.

I installed dragon center 2.0.5 and my bios cpu fan speed settings is not working. After dragon center is launched bios settings are not valid. You can see in the pictures also there is no any option in dragon center.

For the dektop model, it doesn't support CPU, system fan setting function in Dragon Center.

I have exactly the same problem. And since i dont care about the noise, i just removed the PWM pin so the fans are now running at high speed always.

Okey I got it but what about my bios cpu fan speed settings. MSI SDK blocks bios fan settings. This is the problem. I just want to my bios cpu fan settigns (degree and rpm rates) should be valid while dragon center is working. It only works 600-1000rpm.

You mean you set fan speed in BIOS, however the fan speed changed to 600-1000 RPM after Dragon Center launched?
Could you specify the CPU/SYS/PUMP fan settings in the BIOS you set?

Hi all,
same problem here.

MSI Trident 3 arctic 9th and cpu fan speed issue.
I've changed my cpu fan speed from the BIOS because i had temp problems in my games (85*C on my cpu), but after Windows has started, mine fan speed curve is overwritten by the msi dragon center standard.

Has anyone an idea how to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Got info that MSI are working over new DC version,
where will be added a function for preserving fan curve settings set in the BIOS.
And the version may be released onto website soon.
