Hi all, I am new here, just purchased a MSI stealth 17, with an I9, rtx 4090 and 64 gb ram...I play cs2 and path of exile 2..both are running VERY slow on it..freezes all the times. trhotles, small chockes every second...on cs2 average fps is 80! ive had much lower specs notebook and had like 400+ fps...ive trying every configuration on MSI center and Nvidea app...does anyone have any idea of what might be happening?

Open the taskmanager and go to performance
When you are running those games, see if your nvidia gpu is in use

Gpu is being used.. issue sadly still continues..

Try to clean install the graphics drivers to the previous version, the latest version could have some bugs sometimes.
Also, make sure you are setting on extreme performance or balanced mode as the user scenario.
Check your CPU/GPU temperature and the fan speed as well.

First check your Nvidia Panel to make sure your GPU is set to performance, one of my RTX 4080 laptop was only getting 65 FPS in max settings in The Division 2,
after changing what I thought was everything, I then checked in the Nvidia Panel, it was set to the highest Quality, so once I changed that to Performance,
my FPS doubled, so check that out if you haven't already.
I also sent you a PM, if you want more detailed adjustments to your settings!
