CPU - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12450H
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050
when i play games, it suddenly freezes. i can't do anything no shortcuts will work just the screen is frozen i have to hold the power button and swich it off. i kept my lap for a while to check wether it will get unfreeze; the heat went down but the lap was frozen please if anyone can find the error that will be a help. i use msi center is it causing to overclock my gpu when i play games?
I uninstalled and tried but even still i get the notifications from it as changing for extreme power mod and etc
do others also get this issue?

Make sure Windows is up to date, also make sure your games are up to date.
What drivers are you running with your RTX?

I had a lot of issues with my GP66 12UGS and GE66 10SFS.
My GP66 12UGS, works the best with the 555.85 driver from Nvidia, was stable with 551.86, but after updating games, needed to install 555.85.
With my GP66 12UGS all the drivers from NVidia the 552.44, 552.22, 552.12 all had issues.

My GE66 10SFS, works best with 551.86, didn't try the 555.85 yet, but it's so smooth with the 551.86, I just left it at that one for now.

Try with just one stick of RAM the 4800Mhz, you should be using RAM with same speed and CL, this is why they sell DUAL CHANNEL RAM KITS.
Buy a pair of Samsung, SK Hynis, G.Skill, or Crucial, CL40 4800Mhz 2x 8GB or CL42 5200Mhz 2x 8GB or CL46 5600Mhz 2x 8GB.

Make sure to use COOLER BOOST in games also and try using a stand/cooling pad on a desk or table.

Uninstall MSI Center and make sure to remove the SDK file also, then install again an older one, until a new version is released.

Hey Hey - just an aside question... I keep seeing reference from MSI documentation that seem to point you to downloading/using the 'Microsoft Store App' version of MSI Center.

What is the community consensus on this vs. using the exe like you linked above @drek4 ?

I just use the most recent one at the time of posting, if available from MSI, I would choose that first, if not Microsoft store is alright also, just my second choice.
But if issues exist with the most recent one, you must have alternatives, until a newer version is made available.
