Hi, i'm new to this board. my first post :)

I just got an MSI TV@nywhere today, was wondering, how do i get the mpeg 4 recording driver?

i have heard in these boards of people using some unofficail driver or beta. Where can i obtain that from.

Also is there any software or any way to get Guide+ program guide on this tuner? Is there any software which will do it.

My install cd came with Win DVR 1.4, can i safely upgrade it to the newest version without having any problems?

and finally, is it common for when you start Win DVR it takes about 10 seconds to load, and it eats up 100 percent of my cpu. seems a bit strange to me.

My system is a amd t-bird 1.4
384 mb sd ram pc 133
abit kt7a
120 gb drives

Thanks guys

they haven't released the mp4 patch last time i checked.
as for software, i haven't been able to get anything else to work but the bundled software. i even tried the latest windvr and that didn't work for me. as for the long start-up it takes about that long on mine.
specs:
athlon 2100+
512 ddr pc2700
soyo dragon kt333 ultra
msi ti4400
80gb wd 7200 rpm.

as for the beta driver, i uploaded to my webspace for any one that wants it. let me know if you guys get any other programs working with it. also i think you have to uninstall the original driver that came with it to install this one.

Do you think the BETA driver works better? Is the quality any better than the original driver? What about support for STEREO and MPEG-4?

cheers,
kris
