Specs:
intel ultra 9 CPU 24 core
32GB RAM
5080 GPU.
got the laptop around december time. I also use a KLIM laptop cooler.
with the latest bios update, I can no longer use Throttlestop to keep the laptop cool as most of the option are now greyed out. I have tried to disable IVT, undervolt protection and the core. but nothing will let me unlock the full functionality of Throttlestop now.
would there be a way to roll back the bios? I dont even know what version I could roll back to where this would work.
so I have went through the Bios route. managed an offset of -125. changed ther loadline to 110 I have the PL1 to 55000 and pl2 to 65000, but any games I play my CPU temp is 100+, also just put new thermal paste on it also. Ive always managed to keep my laptops under 85. but with throttlestop being taken out. I dont know what else I can do, XTU is the same where you cant modify anymore.
Has anyone else had the same issue and managed to get a workaround? or is there someone I am missing without doing things like disabling the turbo boost etc?
any help appreciated thanks.
