Hello MSI team,

I have a MSI Ventus 2080 Ti (non OC) and in various 3D games or MSI Kombustor, the GPU temp rises to 83°C and the fans rev up to 4100-4200 rpm for 5 seconds then down again, then back up and down plenty of times, even with an open case.
I noticed that, when running these programs, if I exert a pressure with my hand on the center of the 2080 (between the two fans), so as to press the radiator against the GPU a bit more, the temperature immediately goes down 4-5 degrees celsius, and the fan noise becomes acceptable again (no fan revving). When I release the pressure it goes back up to about 82-84°C after a few seconds.

Update : I don't use a support stick (unless I'm wrong, there was none in the box with the card).
When the PC is horizontal and I let the card sits vertically, the same problem happens, the fans revs up and down regularly (ranging from about 2500 to 4200 rpm) and the card reaches 83°C under full load. That's with no pressure from my hand.
Following Svet suggestion, I ran MSI Kombustor and tried to push/support the card from under the side of the power connectors, with the PC back to it's vertical position : the card immediately loses 5 to 6°C under load (down to 77-78°C) and there's no fan revving then. When I stop the pressure with my hand it quickly goes back up to about 83°C under the same load and the regular fan revving comes back.

Do you think my card has bending/sagging ? Should I RMA ?

Do you use the support stick?
Have you tried to push/support the card with hand from the right corner and retest?
or to place the PC case horizontally, and let the card sit vertically and retest

Yep, appear this model doesn't come with such.
