Hello,

I have an issue with my GPU, when I use Lumion software for modeling and rendering, the GPU often gives Vrel PerfCap and the TDP varies around ~50% most of the time. Especially when I put a video rendering on Lumion, at first it gives Pwr PerfCap which is fine for me as it runs at 90-100% of TDP. But after some time (1 hour or so) it gives Vrel and runs again at ~50% and doesn't go back to Pwr if I do not restart the Lumion software. This same thing happen to me with my previous GPU (Aorus RTX 3070 Master).
Can anyone help me on any possible way to solve this?

Ps: Sorry for my English as I am not a native speaker.
Thank you

Updating here, I put my GPU on my brothers Desktop and it works better on his, giving mostly Pwr PerfCap. While his GPU (Tuf Gaming RTX 3060) works the with the same spec on his PC and on mine.
Bios is updated to the latest version on both motherboards. And GPU drivers are updated to the latest verion.

My PC configuration:
- Ryzen 7 5700x
- Msi BazookaB450M
- Corsair 850W platinum 80+
- 32GB of DDR4 Corsair

My brother's pc configuration:
- Ryzen 7 2700x
- MSI Tomahawk X570-A PRO
- Corsair 850W gold 80+
- 24GB of DDR4 Corsair

Try put GPU fan's manually to 100%,
then run the rendering again and retest.

I did it, put the fans manually to 100%. And after some moments of rendering (1-2 hours), it goes again on Vrel and around 50% TDP

1-2 hours? that's not exactly a moment.
And if you leave FANs to Auto, and retest, 50% TDP goes for less of time ?

This is how it looks on my brother's PC. Also I noticed that the PCIe Voltage is 12.2 V on his. And on my PC it is 12.1 V.
I don't know if this has to do anything with it or not

Try a different and better PSU on your PC.

I had a 650W Bronze 80+ previously, when I had a RTX 2070. And this thing happened the same way.
So I have been suffering with this for some time now

I think either PSU or VRM on the GPU is overheating.
But what you said didn't fit completely in those expectations.

What PC case you use? Can you try it on open bench setup?

Could there be chance that the motherboard could cause this?

Try reinstall that app.
Or do a new fresh OS install, then retest.
Check also and compare the GPU drivers used.

I have already removed the side panel of my case. And actually from what I checked on the GPU-Z, the Memory Temperature stays very high indeed, at around 100°C . Normally it should not be that high. Is the VRM overheating somehow related with the GPU VRAM?

I think it may be an issue with the app. Because when I use Furmark or Unigine for benchmark testing, the GPU runs fine at PWR PerfCap and around ~90% TDP

No, but that also could be an issue and to cause a throttling especially if it's run for that long 1-2 hours that you said of constant GPU load.

Could be, check the app, re-install if needs, update if needs, check with your bro's comp and compare the app. versions.
