MSI Vigor GK50 Elite LED Issue

Hello everybody. I am currently using this keyboard for 3 years. Now I have a problem with that about some key's LED. The "8,9,i,o,k,l,<" keys are always lighting low level brightness blue. And also the keys's other colors (red and green) working properly. I think it is all about a controller chip problem. Maybe I am wrong. So does anyone have any idea about this annoying issue? Thanks for your attentions.

Usually issues like that have nothing to do with the controller chip, and more to do with the LED itself. The controller just outputs data. The LED takes that data and makes it light up a color according to that data. If it was working previously, most likely the LED's are dying.

I have the same problem sometimes, it is treated by changing the backlight through the msi center. switching via FN does not help, only the msi center.

are you control the lighting with the keyboard's hotkey? with what led style and color are you seeing this behavior? and how often does this happen?

the left half of my keyboard sometimes freezes on the blue color, regardless of which backlight mode and color it was before. the keys switch only the working right half of the keyboard. after I switch the backlight mode in the msi center, the keyboard works fine again, and is also correctly controlled through the keyboard keys. this happens about once a month, nothing critical of course, just shared
