MSI X570 Tomahawk - 980ti Build Questions

Hi all,

Currently trying to build a new AMD build and I've not really built with AMD before, I am thinking of getting:

1. AMD 3900X CPU (with wraith cooler)
2. 32GB (2x16GB) Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX Black, PC4-25600 (3200), Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 16-18-18-36, XMP 2.0, 1.35V
3. 1TB WD Blue SN550, M.2 (2280) PCIe 3.0 (x4) NVMe SSD, 2400MB/s Read, 1950MB/s Write, 410k/405k IOPS
4. 750W Seasonic Focus GX 750 80PLUS Gold, Single Rail, Fully Modular, 62A, 120mm Fan, ATX PSU

I am planning to re-use my Zotac 980ti Amp Extreme graphics card from my previous build but I am worried that when I'm looking at the Mobo Compatability specs it doesn't seem to be listed, can I still use it? Will my gpu be damaged if I do?

In addition, I've never used M.2 before and I've listed a PCIe 3.0 m.2 above, can I still use this in the PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots for the boot drive? Should I put it on the CPU aligned slot of the chipset?
