Msi x570 Unify stuck on 00 error code

Ive not had a problem updating the firmware on the clutch20 but the dpi options in dragon center are pretty sparse....thats what you get for a £25 mouse i suppose.

first one died after running update , 2nd replacement updated fine go figure

I`m not to bothered if this clutch 20 dies, apart from the lack of dpi control...the mystic light support sucks too, when i start the division 2 the clutch leds turn off, i had hoped the x570 Unify would be a trouble free experience....I think i`ll be going back to Asus....for a motherboard at least.

I actually like MSI center , I used to have corsair with icue didnt like how it spiked cpu in the background randomly wanted a change and use argb so sold most of the corsair stuff
now I pretty much control all devices RGB in MSI Center and had no issues and its super lean dont even need MSI center to start in windows and it still retains the RGB profile set

There is one major flaw with the likes of Msi center, Icue and Lian li`s l connect...they all want to assume full control, if i give L connect control over to Msi center ....it does nothing except for run my fans at full control which is controlled by the bios`s pwm controller which Msi center does not detect, Msi center does not even detect my lian li controller that is conected to the rgb header which shold be detected by mystic light which im pretty sure is caused by the led fw issue im having....which i see no resolution inbound and as im not sure how long the warranty if for....my 17 month old board might just turn in to ewaste

strange my experience has been good I have SL120 unifans and set L connect to sync with motherboard using MSI Center and have no issues with syncing RGB can turn it off from mains and it keeps the profile , I pretty much control all RGB with MSI Center only thing I dont is the AIO which is Z73 and use NZXT CAM for setting curve for fans on Rad and pump also set display , I connect the PWM cable from fan to motherboard sys header , great with Lian Li as 1 cable connects 3

and use software called Fan control to create fan curves I set case fans curve according to what the GPU temp is

Now i`m really stumped, woke up in the early hours thing morning....2 am...so decided to go to the loo and have a smoke before trying to get back to sleep, turned my pc on too to check mail and im like WTF.... my mobo is displaying the tempeture...not 00, also my corsair k70lux keyboard wasnt lit up as usual, neither was my mouse or the the led strip on my msi 3070, I opened up msi center and did a advanced search and low and behold the led fw was listed so i updated and rebooted only to find mobo reporting 00 again and mystic light reporting abnormal led fw again, I first noticed the 00 after i changed my AIO to a Lian Li Galahad360 which is connected to jrainbow1 5v pins.

Im pretty sure its a mobo issue as the 00 code is displayed before entering window11, also ive been getting usb disconnecting issues again which was supposed to be fixed in an earlier bios updated, looks like i`ve got some tinkering to do after work.

Actually I forgot to add I did have it stuck on 00 while back, but power cycling from mains and letting the power drain from the PSU and it started working after that

After spending an hour tonight after work i think i have finally got things back to normal, until now i`d been trying jumping pins 4-5 with a pen nib but nothing was happening, also tried a pair of scissors...nothing, I know...try a screwdriver.....VOILLA and the firmware detected kicked in although the instructions that Msi gave didn't work...touch pins 4 and 5 quickly....more like connect pins 4 and 5 with a screwdriver for 3 seconds to kick in the firmware detection.

The great unify saga lol, hopefully finally over. Its a good board, the super io chip needs a lot of updates lately though, in line with windows updates...hmmm

Just spent the last hour playing the division 2 with mystic lighting actually working on my Lian Li galahad 360 and my 6 sl120 fans, also the debug/temp display hasn't broken again, I`m still puzzled as to what caused the LED FW issue in the first place.

Great news I did the bios update today to 7C35vAD2(Beta version) mainly because of the Win11 TPM Stuttering fix

All seems to be working fine

Im now running the ad2 bios and no problems but its only an Update to AGESA ComboAm4v2PI 1.2.0.7. - Change the default setting of Secure Boot which I thought they had already done in a previous bios, I updated after fixing the led fw issue and after booting my system this morning and tonight....its still working.
