Hi,

The latest 1.3 agesa bios for the godlike makes the usb ports stack where the bios flash back is become none functional. I reverted to the previous bios and bam they came back to life.

You know it's highly
Disappointing to see this but msi fix your stuff.

Update There's a bug somewhere in the firmware that renders the usb ports none functional in windows and the normal bios . Reverting to previous 1.2g or earlier resolves the issue. In my case it specifically effected the usb stack where the bios flashback port is. Also the USB port will work only in mflash mode. In the regular bios and windows it won't operate. So there's something wrong with the firmware update that handles the usb controllers.

By "Reverting to previous 1.2g resolves the issue" Do you mean reverting to BIOS with AGESA PI 1.2.0.3g (like 7D68v1K5)?

Yes. Or other 1.2.0.3 versions like e or f. Only the new 1.3 version has this issue. It's a specific group of usb ports under the 2.5gbe nic.

Nothing radio silence from MSI. Pay $1200 for a motherboard get 6~8 month bios cycles while other competitors push updates quick then the update breaks functionality and zero care given. Maybe in 6 months they will release an outdated bios that will fix the issue.

Looks like a new bios. and with all respect goodspeed. I don't want to spend 15 min filling out a form with a ton of info like that and go through the layers of AI and other useless things to waste my time when it's not my responsibility it's MSI's. I've posted it here they can take 5 min to check and see or provide an quick way of reporting without going through that mess.

Can you tell which USB port exactly is bad after the bios update?
Also what CPU you use?

I sent you guys all the detailed info in an email. 9950x3d and USB ports Under the 2.5GBE port. Testing the bios will report back in a bit.

Also there's another bug it's not critical but certain voltages read as 0 in the bios. Sometimes they work randomly but 99% of the time there just 0. As you can see In my screenshot. The chipset and other voltage readings in the bios.

Yep The bios you gave me 1K8 fixes the issue Ty sir! The usb ports are now working!

Super

Got it, I will feedback those voltage issues back to MSI.

Nice! One other thing given the X670e version doesn't have a display out for the IGPU is there anyway we can get a setting to disable it or control IGPU behavior because if there is I can't find anything. Also on the 1.3 agesa bioses I'm having issues I'm tracking down the specific settings now. But pre 1.3 this isn't wasn't present.

1) on reboots or soft state starts ie power not fully off at the PSU level. The PC will just hang forever (yes I know and memory training but this is beyond that)

If I clear the cmos and reload my settings that I saved PC will work as normal issue will come back again on reboots or soft off states.

1) memory context restore on or off same issue.

I'm currently testing other settings to see which combo might be causing this behavior will report back.

Okay whatever this does Microsoft security level 2. It will literally stop your PC from posting on reboots or soft off states. Disabled behavior returns to normal. So this feature is bugged or needs dependencies that aren't clearly stated that need to be enabled. Please fix this as well.

The issue been tested, but can't be duplicated:

Can you list a full system specs., see >>Posting Guide<<
Also tell what BIOS settings you are using, if you use some specified BIOS settings or configurations,
to share.
Or if you figured how this issue can be duplicated?
