Hello,
I have been trying to find the error in my new setup for almost two weeks, because I keep having blue screens with the message “HYPERVISOR ERROR”.
The problem occurs irregularly after a fresh installation of Windows 11 24H2, drivers have been tested both by MSI and directly by AMD.
The German MSI support always responds very quickly and tries to find the error, the current recommendation is to test Windows 11 23H2.
At first I was advised to switch off the core isolation in Windows, which unfortunately did not help. The PC only seems to run stably with SVM deactivated, but that can't be the solution.
I have tested all currently available bios versions up to A17 and cleared CMOS every time, whether with or without EXPO activated makes no difference. I have already tested another SSD, tested the RAM modules individually and had the CPU checked at the dealer.
Does nobody else have this problem? A dedicated GPU is still being planned, the iGPU is currently being used.
My Setup:
AMD Ryzen 7 7700
MSI Tomahawk x870 WiFi
MSI MPG A850G PCIE5 850W
Corsair Vengeance 32GB 6000 CL30 CMH32GX5M2B6000Z30K (listed as supported)
Samsung 990 Pro M.2 1TB
Thanks for help
