All is in the title, I advice people with the same config as me NOT to update bios to the last A23 version. I've got a MSI X870E carbon wifi with Ryzen 7 9800 X3D and for RAM: Corsair Vengeance Black - 2 x 16 Go (32 Go) - DDR5 6000 MHz - CL30 - Ryzen Edition.
Using UEFI menu or MFlash with flash button and USB key for updating to Bios 7E49v1A23 resulted in a non bootable system, the MB restarting over and over before the POST message. Clear CMOS button didn't help. Fortunately I could get my system back by flashing boas to Bios A21.

Hope this info can prevent problems and maybe help the MSI team to fix this

Overall my setup works good; I found a few issues so far; its only few weeks old; I tested a Ryzen 9 9900x also and another set of G.Skill Memory (2-24GB) 6400-32 but the 6000 CL28 is faster and better benchmarks.
My issue was for Bios which is currently 7E49v1A21 when I went forward to 7E49v1A23 my benchmarks dropped so I reverted; I experienced odd behavior when swapping parts unless I reverted bios back to default settings and I did the reset's with the boards Bios reset which brings up the PBO option setting first (that's how I know its fully reset) before displaying all base settings.
My rules for changes of any type (full reset of Bios and make hardware or Bios changes to insure I get my options clean)
I have not plugged in many USB devices other than those listed below but I always run my Windows environment's at full performance and USB with no power savings.
So far stable on all points and running EXPO1 and PBO and DDR running at the advertised timings; very good memory benchmarks thus far but it will be interesting on USB connections going forward and I expect more bugs to be found as the board is fairly new

FYI, I’ve had BIOS 1A23 for about two weeks now and I haven’t experienced any issues. In fact, I’ve never had any problems with this motherboard.

I did not have any issues but my benchmarks dropped for some reason which I usually re-run after bios updates; I may retest, it was easier just to roll back, as the listed fixes were related to memory configs that I dont have as Im using 1DPC and 1R and dont have the new x3d cpu's either, mine was simply using EXPO1 and Timings for my memory which has low 28cl
