MSI X99S Gaming 7 issues d6 error

So i did a breadboard test before i even installed anything in my case and it worked fine booted to bios. So i uninstall the msi gtx 970 and thats it. i just mounted mobo and install my water-cooler and plug in  the vga and now it doesn't work says d6 error which means "no output device detected". so i've tried everything under the sun to get it to work there's no bent pins on the i've tried it with one stick of ram, moved the vga to different pci slots nothing any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

So what else after d6? And what RAM do you use? Try the other one stick of ram n clear cmos. I'd suggest borrow other vga to try your X99, or take ur vga to try other like friends' mobo.

Nothing it just goes to cpu temps and my friend wont be around for a month so im out of luck there and my ram is G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4 2133

so i guess i applied a little to much thermal paste and some of it got on the board and the bottom of the CPU. Not a lot thou so i cleaned it off with rubbing alcohol and the same problem would it cause permanent damage? and how do i know if that's what is causing it?

So i took the mobo out of the case and inspected the pins very closely and discovered there is one bent. talked to msi said they will replace it for 40 dollars so i yolo'd it considering it would be the same price to fix it either way and i i got it bent back almost perfectly as far as i can tell and still doesn't work): any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Seems more like the vga got some damage or something...but might be the pins shorted, too..Try unplug all the drives and only barebone test or you already did?

Yeah i did same issue i think it must be gpu ill just call msi and send it back and hope for the best. Thanks for the help.
