Something is throttling the CPU during POST?
Are speeds normal once in Windows?

There might be some failsafes in the BIOS that limit CPU speed if
there is some problem with the CPU fan (or it thinks there is).

Once logged in, speeds are fantastic. Especially with the new M2 drive. I do have the CPU overclocked to 4.9 GHz but even without the OC, it still boots slowly. I just updated the BIOS to the version from 6/2020 in hopes that would make a difference and it did not.

Anything else I can review or check? From pressing power to the Windows login screen, it's 25.91 seconds. Is my board faulty? I could never register it (the site said the S/N didn't exist?) so I can't do anything warranty related I assume.

Have you tried to regester it using Dragon Center I had hassles with the web site but Dragon was a easy way to regester the board.
And have you tried to boot us with all USB devices unpluged inclueding Keyboard and Mouse.

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried registering through Dragon Center and get an error stating something went wrong and to try on the website. I try on the website and it says it cannot be registered at this time. So, no luck there. I got it from Amazon in January of 2019 and have never been able to successfully register it.

I also have completely refreshed all settings and the OS multiple times. Tried safe mode, tried nothing plugged in, and still, it's always 20+ seconds to boot.
