Hi all,

I just got my mb but no sound. I have tried install the drivers from MSI website and the consoles from Microsoft store. But it didn't work and the front panel audio outputs "da da da" sound consistently. I also tried uninstall all drivers except high definition audio device, but still didn't work. I don't know what to do now. Is this because of the sound card problems? Thanks for your help.

My configuration:
win10 version: 2004
bios version: 7B17v19

Can you see if there is any exclamation mark in device manager?
Which device are you connecting? Is it a headset or earphone?
When you insert the device, is there any sign appear?
Probably you can install Realtek Audio Control to see if there is any option to apply.

Thanks for your reply. Actually, there is no exclamation mark in device manager. I installed both realtek and nahimic based on their web instructions. I have tried front and back panel to connect my Marshall speaker. None of them works. When I insert device, no sign appear. I just get this motherboard RMA from MSI and the board works before.

How about trying with other devices? Headset, earphone, or another speaker?

if nothing help, you're not gonna like it but to rule out the possibility of any components being shorted inside case, its better to take MB out and test it on non-conductive surface such as wood board (noted that anti static bag is NOT non conductive so don't test it on the bag)
