MSI Z490i Unify is driving me crazy and wanting me to spend $300 for an asus motherboard now

Endless problems with this itx board, first it died (but got fixed), and now it can’t even boot into my ssd.
I was trying to dual boot my PC with windows 10 and 11 but ran into problems after pc repeatedly booted into bios. i didnt had important things so i formatted my hdd and ssd and just installed 11 on my ssd. yet again it boots into bios. Enabling CSM obviously will not help since it already gives me problems. Unplugging my drives and powering off does not work. Tutorials on youtube show accessing the “Hard Drive Disk BBS thing” but there isn’t even an option there. Fast boot and Secure boot is off. I resetted the bios 999 times no luck. it’s driving me crazy and i’m ready to just get a new motherboard.

windows 11 has to be installed in uefi mode, so changing to CSM will boot into BIOS only. have you tried to hit F11 when the system boot up? do you see Windows Boot Manager in the boot device list?

it'd be a lot easier if you can just try install win10 (not so many limitation as win11) and see if it boots into the drive.
Also, check under BIOS\Settings\System Status and see if your SSD is listed as available device there.
Most likely it's not a board problem if the SSD is properly recognized and if you're still unable to boot into the OS.

it detects my ssd and hdd, i already tried f11 no work, i’ll try again with a windows 10 iso.

update: now my windows install can’t detect any drives even though bios does.

update2: after unplugging and replugging and powering off windows FINALLY installed

Is your BIOS setting currently at default? Or to be more specific, are you using AHCI rather than RAID mode now?
From what I can tell, since the SSD is properly detected in BIOS, there's no reason to have no drive available under windows 10 installation. You can also try rebuild the installation USB pen drive.

i just restarted and shut down multiple times and it actually worked. I am tempted to use 11 but i don't wanna go through that hell again so i just used 11 on a spare laptop.
