MSI Z68A-GD80

There is no supported audio device available THX TruStudio Pro

can anybody please tell me how to make this work?

I already had A LOT of problems with MSI Lucid 1156 motherboard, but finally I was able to make THX Tru whatever work great (it enhances stereo, like headphone use)

Now I bought the new Z68 and this sucks, it doesn't works at all

Well, I thought if we are connecting our speaker via S/PDIF, the option in Audio Genie will somewhat turning on the THX TruStudio setting. My Pioneer HTIB has only coaxial S/PDIF so I can't test my board with it. My Zalman 5.1 headphone currently Missing in Action either.

I'll try to find the workaround since I also need this feature for my current PC. I'll comeback later after I found the answer.

Thanks a lot for your help
I already had problems with MSI Big Bang motherboard
It was solved by upgrading to the latest version of the Realtek Audio drivers

It never worked with the standard drivers that come out of the box (motherboard DVD)

Same problem is happening now

Did you check to see if it's the same issue? It looks like a bunch of drivers were updated recently, showing a release date of 2011-06-02 (4 days ago as I'm typing).

The funny thing is Live Updater 5 said yesterday I just check the available updates for my board, and there was update of Live Updater 5, but when I installed it, it said that I already installed the latest version compared to exe that just downloaded.

But, still, there were no updates from Live Updater. Just download the latest version of Realtek HD Audio in Realtek website.

I'm not a fan of Live Updater. It's rather unpolished IMO. It shows products as not installed when they are or the wrong versions from what I have installed, not acceptable for me. It also shows products that aren't from MSI, like Media Expresso. If it's not available from the downloads section of my products page, I don't want to see it. That's really just my personal preference and won't fault LU for that.

But I was referring to checking manually at the Z68A-GD80 downloads page
