No renesas DrMOS for this board as it seems. Hopefully MSI will add proper OTP on the VRM of those boards.

Now the Z87 XPower... THAT will be badass. It uses plenty of those 60A FETs from international rectifier. If the board didn't have to use switches and multiplexers due to CPU and PCH PCIe lane limitations the cost would be more than justified. But Intel screws people all the time by releasing butchered processors and switching sockets all the time.

No reason to believe that is DrMOS. The Z77 MPower has it.
Until the board is featured fully on the site, this is all pure speculation.
And even then, someone is bound to criticise why this or that hasn't been included. I still have to see a higher end board that has it all and where some user won't comment on a shortcoming.

probably I can not tell you more about OTP (if you mean Over Temperature Protection) but as you can see at pictures, the board has full DigitALL power, so it opens a lot of new options... (NDA)
From hardware site it's a bit complicated to me to talk about it. I am not expert on this. Pictures are here.

As I said I have here Z87 Mpower, GD65 Gaming, G45 Gaming and Z77-GD65 Gaming, however Z77 in PC

Yup! No exception here either!  :lol_anim:  Battery placement stinks! Right under the 2nd graphics card position. Makes it a PITA to do a 'full' CMOS clear.
