Hi all!

I'm having several issues with this motherboard.
I'll describe them and ask for your advice.

After turning off the computer for a long time, the BIOS settings are reset by default.
They do not reset upon reboot.
They also do not reset if you turn it off and turn it on after a couple of minutes.
They reset after a long shutdown of about 3-5 minutes and a complete power outage.
The first thing that appears is a warning that the BIOS settings have been reset to
default and the system continues to boot.
The date and time remain unchanged.
The battery is 100% working.

I'm also having issues with my computer freezing and then rebooting.
This happens during gaming or other system loads.
With the latest motherboard BIOS-(7E06vH9) update, the problems disappeared, at least
I thought so because there had been no issues for a long time, but then it finally froze once this week.
When checking RAM with the built-in Windows utility, progress froze at 21% three times.
The test was run with the BIOS settings described below.
I'm not sure if it's worth testing with the default settings?

BIOS settings are as follows:

Enabled - XMP profile - 1 (7600 MHz)
Enabled - Intel 200
Memory Extension set to Performance mode.
CPU IMC: DRAM Clock - Gear 2.
DRAM Timings Mode - Auto
Nothing changed in the Timings section.
NPU Unit - Disabled
I don't trust AI.

Here's my hardware configuration:

Mother: MSI Z890 Gaming Plus Wi-Fi (s1851, Intel Z890)
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF 4.2GHz
RAM: Kingston Fury DDR5-7600 32Gb(Kit of 2x16Gb) Renegade Black (KF576C38RSK2-32)
Power: Fractal Design Ion + 2 Platinum 860W
Cooler: DeepCool AK620 Digital

I ask for help from experts!
Can someone explain, is this fixed somehow or should the motherboard be returned under warranty?
Thank you for your support!

Usually, anything from MSI with "Boost" in the name, like GameBoost, tends to have more downsides than advantages, at least on Intel, historically. So I would be wary of that. You always need to look at the system as a whole, not at isolated metrics like RAM latency. For example, if the RAM latency is 5% lower (which the RAM latency itself only has a tiny impact on overall system performance to begin with), but power consumption is for example 20% higher, it's an overall loss, the efficiency will have nosedived.

Which exact setting have you changed? Is it really called "MSI Turbo Boost", and where is it?

You mean Windows memory diagnostics?

TM5 should be running undisturbed, ideally for the full 90 minutes. It will test most of your RAM and will reserve it accordingly, slowing down RAM operations for other programs to a crawl, while it hammers it with its tests. At the most, you can watch a Youtube video during it (load the browser and Youtube before starting the test), but gaming is out of the question.
Without Intel 200 and MSI Boost enabled, the memory latency is 160+.
But with MSI Boost, it's 72-78...
I ran 35 TestMem5 cycles, and have no problem.

Yes, I meant the standard Windows benchmark utility.

Windows?

Oh, that one. Those are basically just the power limits. That should be safe, as long as your temperatures stay ok and don't approach 100°C.
