Hi I bought a MSI z97 gaming 5 motherboard for my new build along with my 970 twin frozr 5 and after building my new pc and reading through the manual I noticed something I have never seen before, that being an Audio Power Adapter. I want to make use of this feature but I didn't get the part in the box with my motherboard.

The Problem I now have is I don't seem to manage to get hold of MSI, when I try to ring I get some info on warrantys and then get told to go to the website with any questions, fair enough I go to the website, sign up and then when I try to ask a question under support it load for a few seconds and pops up a box with god knows what written in it and then chucks me back to the home page.

Is there any other way to get hold of MSI, all I want is my missing part sending to me and it seems like it's harder to get hold of them

There is no "Audio Power Adapter". You most likely mean USB AUDIO POWER which just means that the special rear I/O USB ports are delivering a very stable +5v signal: http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z97-GAMING-5.html#hero-overview

Is it possible that might be caused by language or country..?
I'd suggest you screenshot the support page and ask moderator's help for reporting it to msi people if possible?

Can't see it being anything to do with country or language, I live in Uk and when on the support page it displays as United Kingdom (GB), how would I forward a screenshot to a moderator?

I will try to get MSI attention to your problem and hopefully it might be fixed. Can you please tell what exactly you tried to do? Step by step if possible

in meantime, what internet browser you are using?
have you tried some alternatives? Chrome, IE, Firefox?

have you tried to clean all browser cached and temp data, with CCleaner:
https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download

then to retest?

I have tried IE and Chrome, I dont use firefox but will give it a try, will also try ccleaner however its a new pc build and fresh win 8.1 so doubt that will do much as I have barely used the system or browsers before trying to open a ticket but as said will give it a try.

@ Nichrome

All I am basically trying to do is get hold of MSI so that they could perhaps send me a part that was missing from my motherboard when I purchased it. This part is only the Audio Power Adapter and is not needed for the motherboard to work and I wasn't aware of this part when I was building my system as I have never seen one before and since it wasn't in the box I didn't question it.

After building my system I decided to have a read through the manual (mainly checking bios interface) and came across this Audio Power Adapter and after reading about it I decided it was something I feel would definately benefit me and something I would like to try, so I went back through all my boxes (I keep every box, wire and connector when I build a new build for up to 12 months (OCD :p)) and couldn't find it.

So I tried to ring MSI to get this part sent out and was told via automated system to open a ticket, so I tried to do this and registered to the website and opened a ticket to only keep getting the same error I posted above over and over.

So basically in conclusion, I have a part missing from my newly bought motherboard (MSI Z97 Gaming 5) and can't get hold of anyone at MSI to get hold of the part because the telephone number directs me to open a ticket and the ticket system just throws errors at me.

Don't worry. We have contacted MSI about the ticket submission error and it should be fixed (hopefully this week).

Else you could contact the shop you got it from about this.

Ok will try to contact the shop but I doubt they keep spare parts hanging around specific to certain motherboards but will ask, otherwise will try again at end of week and see if it's fixed.
