MSI Z97 Gaming 7 USB always on

Hi - I've already spoke with tech support about this topic and they couldn't help.  When I put my Windows 8.1 machine to sleep, my USB ports are still on.  Is anybody aware of a BIOS or OS setting that can sleep my USB ports too?

What is your USB device you want to put it to sleep?

I have a real simple USB powered fan and a USB 3.0 external Hard drive.  The USB fan is plugged into the front of my PC and the external drive is plugged into the MB directly via 3.0 slot.

During the sleep USB devices are usually ON. Unless you change this within Advanced Power options in Windows, then this should allow to disable USB power while sleep/hibernate.
