Hi. Years ago I tried upgrading my GT70 2OC from gt670 to mxm 980m without luck.
So the laptop works fine with the internal gpu, also the 980m works.
I'm curious to know of what to do with my mxm 980m? Can I for example use my wifi port to connect

with it? Even though I know the performance is not the same as a thunderbolt. If so how do I solve cooling?
Open to other advice of what to do with the card.

No, that won't work. Hard to say what the card edge connector is, if it has the same pinouts as a normal PCIe slot, but I would imagine it does not.

If you're asking me if it'll work, I have absolutely no idea.
Personally, a 980M probably isn't worth investing any money into at this point, given it's performance level is probably on par with a desktop 970.
I'd probably just try to recoup my losses via ebay, and say all sales are final.
