I bought a GE72 last year and I am very happy with its performance but it?s a little bit too heavy for me because I need to carry it everywhere so I decide to look for a laptop that is portable and powerful (because I am a gamer myself). Since I have a very good impression on MSI so why not give it a try again.
Originally I wanted to buy a GS60 but I love play games and bigger screen equals bigger fun so I bought a GS72 6QE instead. Let?s see this amazing beauty together, shall we?

I have to say MSI is a very detail oriented company. They put a sponge underneath the upper part box to protect the computer.

This is the whole set of the GS72, including laptop itself, an adaptor, a recovery disc and user menu. (Looks how gorgeous it is, especially the two muscle lines and the hair brushed aluminum case)

Look how slim this beauty is, the height is only 19.9mm and it only weighs 2.6kg. You just cannot find a gaming laptop that can compete with MSI GS series. It has both performance and portability. Amazing product

I/O ports on the left hand side. We have a big vent on the top and an Internet port, a HDMI, 2 mDP, 2 USB 3.1 type-A and gold-plated audio jacks. Moreover, this beauty has built-in an ESS SABRE HIFI chip so you can see ?HIFI? next to the headphone port. *Got to say I really enjoy this sound system and it definitely is the BEST sound system I have experienced by far.

On the right hand side, we have a vent, a secure lock slot, a SD card reader and 2 USB 3.0.

* MSI really did a great job on the thermal system. It has 2 fans and 5 heat pipes and when you playing games, the temperature on your palm rest area is around 20~25? so it?s not too hot at all.
On the bottom side, we have vents on the top and on the bottom left we have a woofer produced by Dynaudio.

We have 9 little rubbers on the bottom to create air flow and prevent the laptop slip away as well.

This is the most part I love the most, the Steelseries keyboard. Really love its firm and quick response. In this generation, MSI apply a method so called ?silver lining printing? to the keyboard. This just makes the keyboard shining.

Overall this beauty?s performance is better than I expected. It?s better than most gaming laptop and close to gaming PC level so it should be no problem to run my favorite games such as GTA5, NBA2K16 and The Witcher 3.
