Mystic light is a poor RGB solution

You are correct. It would be on me if I threw together a bunch of random RGB and expected it all to work with one piece of software. All Mystic Light does for me is control the RGB fans. That's it. It does work, BUT it constantly stops for no apparent reason and requires a reboot to start working again. And every other day or so it requires reinstallation of the MSI Center software because Mystic Light just disappears from the Features Tab and when I open it from the Feature Sets screen, it takes me to the Support Tab. It was working just fine two updates ago. MSI Center 2.0.9.0 and 2.0.10.0 killed it.

Works just fine for me. Roll back to the version that worked for you, then uncheck always update in the settings. see if that helps.

Can't say that I've run into problems recently with any of my MSI hardware, or even using 3rd party hardware with MSI software....or using 3rd party software with MSI hardware.
Then again, aside from the cooler and RAM being from Corsair, everything else with RGB is MSI aside from a spare keyboard. But it all just works as expected.

You need an Gaming MSI motherboard for that feature.

It dose, if you set it up right.

What model keyboard?

They do if you have the peripherals that are supported.

I disagree, MSI in my experience has been outstanding build quality.

Your regrets are your own. As for dozens of complaints. No one is happy 100% of the time all the time. Most "complaints" can be solved though.

my hardware;

Legion 5 Pro laptop,
Razer Viper Mouse
Msi GK50 Keyboard (it says mystic light supported on its site)
Windows 11

I am installing MSI center. I choose the third party RGB option. I reset the computer as instructed. But RAZER synapse doesn't see it at all.

If you need an MSI motherboard in it, it's ridiculous. I don't want to control RGB modules on the motherboard or an RGB assembly connected to the motherboard. I just want RAZER to see the SDKs of my mystical light-supported keyboard that I plug in via USB, work synchronously with my mouse, and use them with chroma studio.

Because the ambience feature of MSI center is a disgrace. There are 3 custom profiles and I cannot navigate between these profiles with the keyboard. I had a coloring set for a game yesterday. Profile 1 and profile 2 as separate. While the custom setting of profile 1 was selected on the keyboard, I said to apply the custom setting of profile 2 and because profile 1 was selected, profile 2 was written directly on the color of profile 1 on the keyboard. All settings are gone.

Apart from this, there is neither a gradient lighting selection, nor synchronous operation with music, nor seeing the change instantaneously without saying "apply". If I am going to color 20 keys, I have to select all of them one by one. After using Razer synapse, MSI center is very weak, extremely dysfunctional.

I'm also a software developer, and frankly, I'm thinking who made this software from the huge MSI company.
I think MSI center should be like a razer chroma. It is a program that is not suitable for MSI.
-There should be a lot of RGB animations,
-The keyboard should be able to move according to the music,
-It should be possible to pass the guard,
profile is not one custom, there must be more than one custom setting in a profile. Or it should be possible to create a profile with only custom settings.
- Razer recognizes every game I install. MSI center does not recognize it. If I am coloring for games myself, I should be able to create a profile as "my games" and manually add the exe of the games and map the profile to them.

Or if msi can't handle it. With proper SDK and user-friendly software sharing, it will approve third-party programs without necessarily requiring a motherboard, and for example, synapse will offer full support. Better get the software support from RAZER to produce the keyboard msi.

Razer won't see it......Read what that says again...."Mystic Light will overwrite third party RGB Software after system restart"
That's saying it will take control of any devices that Mystic Light can see......
It does NOT say that it will allow OTHER 3rd party software to be able to control MSI devices......

Honestly, it's easy to criticize all these things....but in my experience, with all the various RGB devices out there....they all function very poorly. And integration between each is pretty much impossible, generally speaking.
Honestly, from what I'm seeing, it deals with you not understanding, more than it deals with the 'poor software'.
It does work, and works generally well. Is it limited? Sure. But so is all of them. Corsair iCue is another good one that honestly, has poor support, and generally speaking, the same effects as MSI Center/Mystic Light. And actually, I like the MSI Center/Mystic Light combo better because it's more interactive than iCue is when it comes to effects with the keyboard. I have a Corsair K65 RGB Mini, and it's less features than the GK50 Elite.

If you don't like the keyboard, or the software, then return it and get what you want? Ultimately, I get the feeling no matter what keyboard you get, you're not gonna be happy.

Here's another nonsense. RAZER says, I support MSI and it's written on its site. But MSI does not have razer support. I think it only supports corsair. Why then offers such an option. It should put an option for the only product it supports directly.

There were also those who contacted Razer when the same option was open when there was a dragon center in the past, there were reviews and articles that were said to support this, and there was a razer option in the past. It's not a difficult thing to do. If you make the SDK available and connect, it works very well.

If this support has been removed, please state it clearly so that it does not bother us.

In short, everyone has the same problem. You extract a feature and it doesn't work at all. Either MSI is corrupting the SDKs to annoy RAZER and preventing it from seeing it. Or he doesn't knowingly offer support, but pretends there is.

All I can say is I've never had Razer and MSI stuff work together (and I have a bunch of each.....).

That being said, until a company, or companies, decide to make a 'standard' of some kind, to really standardize things, it's going to be this crapshoot of products from companies that really don't ever work well together.

You and a couple of comments are not Everyone

It amazes me how some flashing lights can make a product totally useless and broken even though the product does want it should without a problem but no it is broken and useless and it is not all shiny and pretty.

RGB was the worst thing any manufacturer placed on a Product, Perfectly functional hardware returned because it works as intended but the shiny flashing lights are not what the users expected to see or do not work as they seem to think they should

I wish that Mystic Light was a standalone software instead of being bundled with MSI Center. I don't want that other stuff and for some reason MSI Center doesn't detect my CPU speed anymore after a recent update. Fortunately there are third party solutions that do work for both RGB and monitoring my CPU and GPU and they're far less bloated than MSI Center is.

I miss the color schemes that I had in gigabyte rgb fusion which looked so much nicer than what is offered by mystic light. I tried linking it to razer chroma but I can never get the fans to accept the colors that my razer devices show which are almost identical to what gigabyte did.

Download SignalsRGB, you will never look again after installing it.

This will control pretty much every RGB, device such as fans, motherboard, keyboard, mouse etc from different brands.

Also can do custom animation per led and have huge library

I installed it but it doesn't see my keyboard. Razer sees the mouse but not my msi keyboard, other software.

because even signal did not support the great quality msi keyboard. They have such crappy SDKs.

Ignore this list, join their discord and ask there.

Many people shared the rgb module for different devices. See if someone shared it there.

In order for Signals Rgb to work you have to uninstall MSI Rgb software completely otherwise it wont work as Mystic light will block SignalsRGB.
