Mystic light sync

So I have a Cooler Master AIO and I want to be able to control the RGB and try to time it up better with my Motherboard and I don't wanna take my back side panel off and look through the rats nest of cables to find the RGB controller so I downloaded MSI center to get Mystic light sync but under installable items is only shows me "MSI AI, System Diagnosis, and True Color". I also tried to download Dragon center but that didn't really work. So please help

R5 5600, ASRock B450 Steel Legend, 16gb Corsair Vengeance LPX, Cooler master ML120, and MSI GTX 970 (I know it's 10 years old. Plan to upgrade soon)

MSI Centre will not work with any of that as nothing is MSI(other than the 970 which is too old to be supported with MSI Centre).

The GTX970 might not have even be supported by MSI Mystic Light.....honestly.....

I wouldn't even think about MSI RGB stuff, given your hardware. Stick to ASRock's stuff, honestly. That's probably your best bet.

So I downloaded polychrome sync but it won't even open for me. It says "Detecting LED device" but then isn't responding ands just closes. Even if I run as admin. Now I downloaded OpenRGB and that works but doesn't support my cooler.

Use the manual for the AIO?
I mean....it's made to connect to either a small controller (that's included?) or to the motherboard....which is an ASRock.....
If you want help with ASRock's stuff, go to their forums.
This forum is for MSI stuff, and we've already explained, you don't have anything that's supported. So it just won't work the way you want.
Go buy an MSI motherboard?
 
I'm not trying to be annoying and I just want the software for my AIO which is supported. This motherboard was a "more" recent purchase so it'll probably be about a year or 2 before I upgrade and yes my cooler does have an RGB controller but I'm trying not to look through my rats nest of cables in the back of my case to find it but I will if I need to. If this really just wont work then it wont but I was just trying to see if the problem could be fixed.

MSI's software won't control your RGB if it isn't through an MSI product.
Your GPU doesn't support it.
Your motherboard is ASRock.
Go see them about it. MSI can't do anything about it.
And if it isn't supported by ASRock, then I'm sorry but there isn't anything we can do here to help. Other than to say that had you bought an MSI motherboard, it might have worked and we could help.
 
Actually while I'm here if you don't mind me asking for help with afterburner because after an update it doesn't want to work and this should be the last thing I need help with.

I can't personally say much. I don't even bother using it anymore. It really shouldn't be needed if I'm honest.
Are you trying to overclock your GTX 970?
 
I'd stick to HWINFO64 or other utilities that are better suited, honestly. Afterburner is really more for overclocking if I'm honest.
