I am using Z790 tomahawk max Wi-Fi with corsair vengeance DDR 5 Ram 32gb intel i7 14700k ASUS tuf 4090 oc ASUS tuf 1000w gold power supply and Samsung 980 pro nvme ssd and got the pc built at Best Buy and when I picked it up he told me that he tried enabling expo or exp and the pc crashed so ram is running at default 4800 instead of 6000 and was wondering how I could get this working properly. Also I am wondering if my cooler is good enough for the cpu it’s a GA Trinity 2 360.

Same thing i said before. It seems as though they have realized at Best Buy that this CPU would be pushed too hard by the function, so they additionally implemented an AVX offset, partly negating the overclock. But yeah, GameBoost is just not the right thing to use on Intel. There's no good way to push a 14700K much further than what it already comes as from factory. Press Yes to accept the changes.

Yes, it should stay cooler without GameBoost. Try XMP again. If it still doesn't work, then i suggest the following. Press F7 in the BIOS to switch to advanced view, go to OC, find the XMP setting, enable it. But before pressing F10 to save&exit, also set "DRAM Frequency" to DDR5-5600 by hand. With any luck, this will make it at least work close to the XMP speed. But yeah, as mentioned, normally when they cannot get XMP to run, they should opt for a different RAM kit where it runs, and not leave the customer stuck at DDR5-4800.

See my fan curves guide. You should put the system fans on a fan curve too (enabling Smart Fan and setting up a reasonable curve).

Again, if you paid Best Buy to set up your PC, this is something they should have done (to a better extent), so i would not be quite satisfied with their work.

I can't see the values on the right, nor the mode (PWM/DC) on the left, so you're gonna have to include the entire picture. In general, such a straight curve is not advised, as you'd essentially be throwing away the two middle points. If you make a straight line, the points in the middle don't change anything about it. Secondly, your starting point should be at 30°C for example, around the lowest your CPU temperature will probably be. It will never be 6°C unless you put the PC in the freezer or use liquid nitrogen cooling. Thirdly, the 100% speed should be somewhere around 85°C or 90°C, not at 56°C. And then the two points in the middle, gradually increasing on an upward angle, not straight.

For the AIO's pump, this is all less critical than it would be for the fans. Because the pump tends to have a certain RPM range, almost no matter what you set in the fan curve. So you could probably even keep it like this without significant repercussions in cooling performance or noise. For the fans though, you want the curve set up a bit better than this.
