Never ending failure of MSI Center to install . . .

I had MSI Center installed and working well on a new MSI Pro Z790-A WIFI (DDR5) build, but it suddenly decided not to run. When I tried to reinstall (after deleting the app and the SDK), I got the error message shown in the attached image.

I went through the whole process of delete the app and the SDK, running CleanCenterMaster, rebooting, download a fresh copy of MSI Center from https://download.msi.com, and reinstalling as Administrator = I got the same error message.

I tried to install the same copy of the app after deleting the app/SDK, AND running CHKSDK AND running CleanCenterMaster = I got the same error message.

After deleting the app/SDK AND running CHKSDK and running CleanCenterMasrter I tried installing the app via Microsoft Store = resulted in the same error message.

I've tried deleting the app with CleanCenterMaster, then manually searching and deleting EVERYTHING I could find in File Manager and the registry related to MSI, then trying to install the app again = resulting in the same error message.

I've even tried deleting the application and SDK using Revo Uninstaller, the running a search in File Manager and registry and manually deleting everything MSI related = wouldn't install.

My basic system is:
MSI Pro Z790-A WIFI (DDR5)
MSI Geforce RTX 3050 Ventus OC
64GB G. Skill DDR5 5600

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

I found a previous post related to this issue, You can try the method stated there, I hope that fixes your issue.
That seems to be the standard suggestion for this error, and I have tried it several times, but the result if always the same. I end up with the same error message about MSI.CentralServer.exe. Any other kind suggestions?

I found that suggestion and tried it, and it made no difference.

I'm using Windows 11 Pro / 23H2 / Build 22631.3672
It is sad to read that you still have the issue. MSI Center is not the most stable software, honestly (it still works better than Armoury Crate). What do you plan to use it for? Maybe we can come up with alternatives.

Thanks for the thought.

I'd like it mostly for the Mystic Light module to control my RGB setup, which it did remarkably well when I originally had it working. Now I'm using a combination of SignalRGB for RAM/Fans/CPU water cooler/GPU support arm, and HyperX Ngenuity for my HyperZ keyboard, which SignalRGB won't recognize. The Ngenuity app was set and forget, and SignalRGB is OK(ish), but the controls in MSI Center seemed to produce a lighting pattern more to my taste, and was quit a bit easier to use.

I tried getting the HyperX app to control everything, but it wouldn't recognize my G. Skill RAM. I tried the OpenRGB app, but that was a bit of a nightmare. It sometimes would and sometimes wouldn't recognize various things, and was a pain to set up.

Any suggestions you might have would be welcome.

I understand that MSI Center does not work well with other RGB software installed. Have you tried uninstalling the other RGB software and installing MSI Center to see if that solves the issue.
By the way, I use free Revo Uninstaller to uninstall MSI Center, it completely uninstalls all components of MSI Center. Just a thought.
Best of luck.

Thanks, but . . . I thought of that myself and uninstalled all RGB related apps with, coincidentally, Revo Uninstaller - MSI Center still wouldn't install. I also turned Firewall off, and that didn't help either . . .

It seems like you are already aware of the good alternatives. I hope the MSI Center becomes more reliable in the years to come.
