New BIOS 7E49v1A33 has been released today. I am curious about the impressions of those who have already installed it. Any issues encountered during or after the update? Thank you!

New BIOS 7E49v1A51 is available.
Description:
- Enhance memory overclocking capability.
- Samsung 1.25V low power memory optimization for 256GB capacity.

Sounds like targeted at memory overclockers. :-)
Did anybody give it a try? Is it OK to be used?

Can someone explain what’s happening here?

Back when I was in school—admittedly quite a while ago—E came before F. Is this just a typo, or is AGESA F no longer relevant?

What do they mean by - Change PT FW version?

And finally the latest bios, for the Carbon Wifi, ends in 'A60' so thats a proper fully tested non Beta Bios, correct?

Very good questions. When flashing, the flash tool should show the ComboPI version, although even then typos are possible, Anybody has tried the new BIOS to confirm the actual version?

AGESA 1.2.0.3f is actually in beta state. Maybe some issue aroused and that's the reason they are reverting back.

I don't feel like flashing again and redo my OC profiles because I don't have any problem.

It would be nice if MSI could provide more info.

Something weird is going on.
Today (2025-07-28) a new BIOS was posted v 7E49v1A60 but the description says "Change AGESA PI 1.2.0.3e"
10 days ago, BIOS v 7E49V1A52 was posted with "Support AGESA PI 1.2.0.3f" which included a security mitigation.
Does today's BIOS 1A60 include the security mitigation?
Does today's BIOS 1A60 revert AGESA back to 1.2.0.3e, and if so, why?
It's not just the "Description" - when I load in the M-Flash, it shows the new 1A60 version as AGESA 1.2.0.3e instead of f.
Very confused, and not sure which BIOS to trust now.
Please advise!

Yes, if it was in V1A5x it will be in V1A6x

Must be a problem with the AGESA 1.2.0.3f package for them to pull it and replace with 1.2.0.3e

It is all very weird. A52 with 1.2.0.3f has been silently removed from the BIOS page. Probably it is slated for a version past A60.
It is for the first time that I see how a new BIOS reverts back the version of AMD firmware.
Anyway, I am happy with A52 so far and I don't plan to update it until a new BIOS with 1.2.0.3f or newer is uploaded.

Only four days after 1A60 was first listed, 1A61 has landed, back comes Agesa F  glad I didn't bother with the former and decided to wait.

I installed the 1A61 on my system. It has totally messed up everything. I had Windows 10 on my Sata ssd and windows 11 on my M. 2 ssd. I was booting to windows 11 by default. And also I could boot into windows 10 by going into bios and choose boot override. But now after 1A61 update from 1A60 the bios doesn't show my m. 2 as boot drive though it is able to detect it. It is only detecting my windows 10 sata ssd as boot drive. Now the weirdest part. The system at boot detects the windows 10 ssd as boot drive but boots into windows 11 (on m. 2 ssd) using the bootloader of windows 10 on sata ssd. And if I disconnect my sata ssd, I cannot boot into anything. Can anyone suggest a fix?
