New BIOS 7E49v1A33 has been released today. I am curious about the impressions of those who have already installed it. Any issues encountered during or after the update? Thank you!

Flashed it an hour ago and no issues so far, runs well with my settings but ofc, it is too early to say about the stability.

However, something strange happened, which is not related to the new BIOS. I always revert my BIOS to the default settings before flashing, then reboot and then enter M-Flash mode. This time the mobo failed to enter M-Flash with three long beeps. I switched off the PC completely, waited a few seconds and then started it again. This time it entered M-Flash without any problems, flashed the BIOS and then I applied my usual settings and then I rebooted the PC a few times without any issues, like nothing has happened.

Has anybody experienced such problems with M-Flash before?

No problems with this BIOS so far. Running smoothly and stable for me.

I can't say I have experienced that issue with entering M-Flash. No issues getting in there on this board at all. A previous MSI board I had issues once but I believe that came down to some issues with the memory sticks on it. Don't fully recall. Three long beeps sounds like a potential memory issue which I would wonder if your timings weren't exactly right but since you're resetting to defaults I wouldn't expect that to be the issue. I am assuming everything has tested stable for a while? Might be worth seeing if you can reliably produce the issue for narrowing in on the problem.

Maybe resetting bios before a flash is part of your ritual, but in reality m-flash overwrites the bios chip with a new bios and as a result all will be set to default. It does not care about any setting made. Unless ofcourse you already had issues prompting you to reset it before a new flash.
My guess is the board tripped over the default settings coming from adjusted ones, like memory timings etc. Sometimes something stays resident in memory, even after a reboot or shutdown.
Could be a game or program you were running just before deciding to flash.

Thank you all for the offered advice.
"in reality m-flash overwrites the bios chip with a new bios and as a result all will be set to default" - so, if I understand you correctly, booting into M-Flash is like booting with a different BIOS and different settings? Because, as I mentioned, I reset all settings to default, then boot into the "normal" BIOS (which passed without any problems) and from there I tell it to boot into M-Flash. One possible explanation why I booted successfully with the default settings but then had problems with M-Flash is if another settings are applied for M-Flash, and this time they failed for any reason.
Btw, I wonder if a new BIOS re-programs M-Flash too, which can also explain why M-Flash can behave differently next time I enter it after I have updated the BIOS.

Well, I bit the bullet and upgraded from A92 to A93 on my 9800X3D+5080 build, on a Tomahawk X870 (non-E version)
System seems to be running okay.

* 10 minute OCCT stability test passed
* 2 Cyberpunk 2077 path tracing benchmark runs passed
* Sleep/resume works
* My memory hold its EXPO profile, but I never had a top-end kit or top-tier timings to begin with (Kingston DDR5-6000 CL36-38-38 1.35V)

I'll report in if anything weird happens.

Oh, and regarding the m-flash and wiping settings: I flash using M-flash, power down, use the "clear CMOS" button, and then redo my settings in BIOS. I don't know if the "clear CMOS" is necessary (since flashing a new BIOS seems to overwrite everything), but that's how I do it ;)

Good to hear, I will wait for the A100? though. Had some poor experiences with versions A30 upto A63.
I finally went from A24 to A67, then A70 and A90 at present. Seems to me they update bios mostly for an agesa refresh, maybe some obscure memory kit also.
Never reset bios before m-flash. Did it once after a bios flash. Most of the flashes I did the fans were set to default but there was one or two versions where fan curves remained set after the flash.
Curently running A90 which had the curves reset to default just as everything else in the bios.
But as said, always good to hear there are no known issues with the newest bios release.
