We have changed the forum layout since 14 august 2012 and there might still be some issues we haven't seen or tested yet.

If you encounter any issues, please post them here.

Try to describe the issue as clear as possible.
A screenshot will make the issue more clear.
Also tell us your OS, Screen resolution, Text Size zooming (in Windows), Browser version and Browser Zoom settings.

We can't solve every issue but we will try to make it work for as many platforms and users as possible.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Why  :confused2:
and you removed the option for the user to remain on the previous layout.
Now you have users already using differing fonts and the result is not pleasing to the eye. Makes the forum look really unprofessional.
Example. https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=160937.msg1179596;topicseen#msg1179596
Svet's reply is the only post that looks acceptable. The other posts look like rubbish, see the screenshot that shows all three posts.

and it doesn't matter which browser you use. It just looks untidy to have differing fonts in the same thread or even within the forum.

Hi Bernhard,

The post you are referring to has a user selected font
The user "iqmaster" selected the Courier font for his posts.
https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=160937.msg1179596;topicseen#msg1179596
The courier font looks very old-school but isn't the most clear font to read, I agree but it's the user's choice in this case.

The Theme uses Verdana (or Geneva depending on availability on the client's system) like you see in Svet's post.

Give the new theme a try and let us know when you find more issues.

I understand the reason.
From my perspective a forum should maintain a standard font for all posts. Thats whats easy on the eyes and creates some sort of formaty.
If the forum allows for highlighting or quoting with added bold/italic options, then that should suffice.
Allowing users to start selecting differing fonts removes the standardised look and feel of the forum. I cannot agree. It just looks untidy. My opinion.  :emot-tip-wink:

You are right. It is unnecessary for users to change the font.
We have removed the option for users to choose a font face. We kept the options for changing the Font Size and Font Color.

there was always such option :) its not new :)
if someone want to use custom fonts he can do this,
just normally no one use it, but for this specified post that you mention,
the user used his preferred font
you haven't noticed it before, because normally no one use a special custom preferred font

this will be new :) and its cool idea :emot-tip-wink:

They was already enabled for all those years, and normally no one use them :)
But now[from today] they are disabled just in case :)

A different font can be used for emphasis or to highlight a particular section without using italicized/bolded/colored text.  I don't see this as an issue, but leaving the option for replies, not as a Look and Layout option, would be nice.  Any post made without purposely choosing the style would be the forum default which is how it's been since I've frequented here since 2004.  Whatever the decision is fine, but the choice in replies was nice to have.

Personally, I really like the new color scheme.  It is easy on the eyes, and has good contrast.  As for any "new" or "added" features.....I have not used them ....yet

Keep up the great work guys.

Well, I have to admit I like the forums here and the posts, threads and content is great.

BUT

I find that the page links at the foot of every forum are WAY TOO SMALL...
I mean come on... Its 2017 now?
And to have page links on any forum without NEXt/PREV page is absurd!

When you have a hi-res monitor like 1080p or larger it is so difficult to advance to the next page...
I mean I cant be the only one with this problem?
And maybe other users are too polite or just put up with it....

If yu wish to increase the usability of the forums,
please implement his fix ASAP (like yesterday)

See my photos below.
Thank You for a great community space.

Hi, is there a way to change the way the forum looks (forum skin)? This white font upon black background is really hard to read.

Go to "Profile', click on 'Modify Profile' and click on 'Look and Layout' and then at the very top of that page where it says 'Change Theme' change it to MSI-LEGACY.
